Literature Text

The world stood still one morning
As the sun crept through the cracks on my window
I thought of you and how I have a wound buried deep inside
Your memory passes through my brain
Like an iron brand passes through cow’s hide

Year after year I hope to get rid your essences
But you're just a ghost
You linger around
And never leave me
You're just like wind
You came in like hurricane
And now you're just a breeze

I could have seen through your eyes
I should have noticed your voice
I would have loved you even more
But you're just a jerk
A risk to my public health

And day after day
My night become longer
Your thought is engraved through my mind
You're like salt passing through water
You poison me and I like it and I hate it
You're the conflict I can’t resolve
You're the rose that has thrones
You’re the trash I can’t throw away
You're the residue that builds up in the sink
You're the love I've never had
And You're the love I dream I have.
